Northwest Insurance Agency has been serving the Phoenix West Valley for over 35 years. We were founded by Andy and his wife Marge Germond, and are now ably guided by Dan Germond, who joined the agency in 1974. Before moving their business to Glendale, Andy and Marge operated Germond Insurance in Sun City for over 10 years.
Carol Kahn, our personal insurance specialist, joined the agency in 1987. She began her insurance career as one of only 30 high school seniors nominated by their teachers to attend a Cooperative Office Education class. Throughout that year Carol worked for another agency and then, right after graduation, she began working with Andy, Margie and Dan. Says Carol, “I thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful people I have met over the years, and I look forward to meeting you very soon.”
Andy served as a Radarman aboard the USS Frank Knox in the South Pacific during the closing months of World War II. His destroyer was one of over 200 allied warships anchored in Tokyo Bay when the surrender documents were signed on 2 September, 1945. Dan served for many years in the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserve.
